I felt compelled to write a few words about the excellent service I received at DWT Legal. Having been disappointed with the dealing of my divorce by another firm of solicitors, I contacted DWT on a whim and have never looked back since.
DWT dealt efficiently and emphatically with the residency issue regarding my daughter which eventually went to court. Shane Miller who managed my case kept me well informed and explained everything clearly to me. She explained the likelihood of differing outcomes and the costs involved so I was fully aware of every eventuality. She would inform me of any changes in my case and took my needs and opinions into consideration and incorporated them if she thought them appropriate and reasonable.
Nothing was too much trouble for Shane and her colleagues Anna and Teresa. DWT not only focused on getting the best outcome for my daughter and I but did so with understanding and compassion during a very difficult time in our lives. DWT did everything they could to resolve the issues raised by my daughters father without attending court but through mutual agreement to save on my costs. This unfortunately did not happen due to the other side. Regardless of the added cost, my daughter remained in her family home, is happier than ever and sees her dad regularly. A great result all-round with thanks to DWT Legals handling of my case.
When Debbie Fowler represented me in court as Shane was away, she arrived ahead of schedule and she had evidently been briefed thoroughly by Shane. She had already prepared a way forward and handled the whole case to a very welcome conclusion. She kept me calm and was understanding throughout the whole experience which was obviously very daunting.
In short, whilst the whole situation was clearly distressing for my family, I remained confident in Shane's abilities to achieve the best result for my daughter, always putting what was best for her first. I had never felt like that with my previous solicitor. If ever I became anxious, Shane would reassure me and I never felt like a bother to the team.
Anna and Teresa were always extremely polite and helpful when I dealt with them and they remained professional at all times. My phone calls were always returned and any urgent correspondence was sent quickly. DWT Legal were outstanding in the dealing of my legal matter.
I received excellent service throughout and would not hesitate in using them again or recommending them to friends and family. A big thank you to all those involved with my matter, a job well done. Superb.
